Pair of French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Porcelain and Ormolu Lamps
About the Item
A charming and high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. cobalt blue porcelain and ormolu lamps. Each small scale lamp is raised by an elegant circular mottled base with lovely foliate designs wrap around beaded bands and beautiful spiral fluted designs. At the center are the baluster shaped cobalt blue porcelain bodies with striking and richly chased ormolu necks decorated with wonderful floral garlands tied with ribbons and set on hammered backgrounds. Rich satin and burnish finish and all original gilt throughout.
