About the Item
A most elegant and high quality true pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. patinated bronze, ormolu and Vert de Patricia marble lamps. Each lamp is raised by four fine ball shaped ormolu feet below the striking square Vert de Patricia marble base with a mottled border and beautiful lightly curved design with a foliate wrap around ormolu band. Above are beautiful finely detailed maidens draped in wonderfully executed flowing garments and holding urns on their shoulders supporting the lamps above. All original rich and warm patina throughout.
