Pair of French and Asian Collaboration 19th Century Porcelain and Ormolu Lamps

About the Item

An exceptional pair of French and Asian collaboration 19th century teal blue fire glazed porcelain and ormolu lamps attributed to Theodore Deck. Each lamp is raised by an elegant square ormolu base with concave corners scallop shaped sides and a fine richly chased wrap around tied berried laurel band. The striking elegantly shaped bodies display the superb deep "bleu de Deck" coloration with decorative Greek Key like wrap around bands at the centers with fine ormolu top caps above and beaded bands.
