Pair of French Crystal Girandoles with Grape Clusters
About the Item
A pair of Louis XV style four-light French girandoles, or chandelier table lamps. Made of cast polished brass with three tiers of clear and amethyst cut crystal prisms, amber and amethyst grape clusters, and large glass apples. Center post with ribbed hollow glass columns, large marble spheres and marble base. Hollow crystal spear finials. Original candle covers. In working order, rewired with original sockets and old plug with brass collar. Some loose prisms have been resecured. Circa 1900-1920.
