About the Item
This large pair of antique porcelain lamps are unsigned, but being attributed to the Royal Dux factory of Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, in a Neoclassical Revival style. The detailed modelling and hand-painting we believe are highly consistent with the workmanship of Royal Dux. These large lamps are done with a molded porcelain and are very detailed from all sides and hand-painted in muted tones. The lamps depict a young male and young female standing next to a column covered with ivy, with goats and sheep at their feet. The lamps retain their original finials, but no longer have shades.
