About the Item
This elegant pair of uplights were handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They feature ribbed undulating curved translucent bodies banded in two places with a volumetric ovoid form. mercury glass embellishment in the centre. The channeled top form of the uplights expand outward before tapering at their mouths. With their clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate, these uplights are as versatile as they are beautiful, representing a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
