Pair of Vintage French Carved Marble and Gilt Bronze Cassolettes Table Lamps

About the Item

Decorate a buffet, console or bedside tables with this elegant pair of antique cassolettes converted into table lamps. Crafted in France, circa 1920, the urns are made of carved variegated marble and stand on square bronze bases decorated with leaf motifs. Each marble vessel features a pair of bronze side handles with swan face figures and foliage decor, and each vase is further embellished with floral swag mounts draping around the periphery under the traditional Louis XVI ribbon bow. The large and heavy cassolette lamps are in excellent condition and adorn rich red and white colors with patinated gilt bronze mounts. Harps and finials included. Shades not included. Measures: 9" W x 7" D x 32" H
