RARE CELEBRITY FURNISHING! HART ASSOCIATES ABSTRACT PALM BRASS TABLE LAMP SUPERB QUALITY! WHITE LINEN SHADE Dimensions: 30" x 18" Hart Associates was one of the most prestigious makers of modernist lamps in the second half of the 20th century. The company served hotels, country clubs, restaurants, residences, celebrity homes and embassies with the finest furnishings - mostly made with brass, They competed with Marbro, Frederick Cooper, Laurel, Stiffel and other smaller high end manufacturers. However, they worked exclusively with decorators and were not available to the public, which make their pieces all the more coveted today (as then) for their low production, high quality and extreme exclusivity! This magnificent brass lamp illustrates why this reputation was well deserved. It's stunning! This table lamp is an iconic example of the seventies brass Art Deco revival and of the long tradition in Palm Tree themed lamps for the rich and famous. This abstract design is sleek and curvaceous, clean lines with worked brass that displays marvelously! Very fine vintage condition! Still has original weighted brass finial.
