Sculptural Bernard Rooke Ceramic Lamp, British Studio Pottery

About the Item

A rare and sculptural ceramic table lamp by British artist Bernard Rooke, dating to the 1960s. Known for his textural, architectural forms and earthy glazes, Rooke's work bridges Brutalist and organic modern aesthetics. This piece features a circular base with open center and stacked geometric motifs, finished in a palette of moss green, terracotta, and natural clay tones. Hand-built and expressive, the surface is richly textured with impressed patterns and layered glazes, showcasing Rooke’s signature experimental style.
