About the Item

The beauty of Richard’s signature STACKED style is based entirely in the process. This pair of identical Sconces, made of Salvaged Mahogany feature Tala's Porcelain III LED Lightbulbs. As with every STACKED object Richard creates, these sconces are built, sculpted, and finished entirely by hand. Imagine an analog version of 3-D printing, or coil pottery. The desired profile is defined during the building process. Piece by individual piece, layer upon layer, he additively sculpts each form, controlling both the wall thickness as well as the profile. Once constructed, Richard refines the exterior using a variety of hand held tools, resulting in a finely honed quality with subtle undulations very similar to that of hand built ceramics. We can also tailor our style to create a Sconce specific for your space. Do you desire a different wood species? Taller? Or, Shorter? We will work together to design a form that is perfect for you or your clients space. The TALA Porcelain III LED Lightbulbs Specs: 2700K / 540lm / 6W These Sconces include a wall mount bracket, as well as a wall mounted cord stay to hold the plug in wire straight. It is recommended that the sconce be plugged into an outlet that is operated by a switch, OR, to use a Dimmable Wireless Control Switch (not provided) to easily turn the sconce on/off.
