About the Item
Table Lamp by Jacques Grange (Fr. 1970s)
Plaster base with three wide points in a tapered progression leading to the shade. The shade has been newly fabricated with linen. The plaster has minor chips and scratces throughout, appropriate for it's age. The lamp requires a single E26 bulb. We recommend a single 40-60w max bulb or LED equivalent.

Yves Saint Laurent, fashion designer and substantial art & antiquities collector, was enamored by a lamp he owned of Giacometti for Jean-Michel Frank from the 1930s. He asked his decorator Jacques Grange to find them for all his boutiques. Unable to deliver, per availability and pricing, Jacques made them himself. Redone in plaster to mimic its original manufacture.
