About the Item
This table lamp "Dobrilla" (quite rare model) is an early design of Giusto Toso for Leucos (1962).
Installed in Scorzé (Venice), where they had their show room, Leucos is a company that brought a new perspective to Murano Glass.
As they concentrate on the traditional hand crafted or blown murano glass, they followed also a very contemporary line of design.
This lamp (originally a wall of ceiling lamp) is one of the 1976 catalogue. It is made of white and crystal Murinne.
The crystal murrines let the light through making a constellation. The white opaline murrines diffuse the light.
