Table Top Rotaflex double shade lamp
About the Item
Elegant Table Lamp by Rotaflex. 20.25" tall, 14.5" wide and 4" deep. Most components made in America, but the bullet cone shades likely produced in France. Unknown if the work of Sylvia and John Reid or Yasha Heifetz. Mounted upon a plinth base of wood with red felt to the underside. The power switch turns on each lamp on individually or together. Bases take regular bulbs up to 40 watts. Ideal for above a mantel or credenza. The brass socket stems have holes in the bottom allowing air to enter and it vents through a small hole at the top of the shades. These underside vents help to illuminate the base in a subtle manner. Unmatched illumination that only Rotaflex shades can provide. Elegant and very unique. The tips are a bronze colored material (not painted). Unsigned.
