About the Item

Table lamp model Tikal 1555 designed by Pier Giuseppe Ramella for Arteluce. Elegant table lamp model Tikal 1555, the name and shape recall the Mayan culture. The lamp has a swivel lacquered metal base on which rests a blue glass on one side polished and on one side satin-finished, the shade is composed of two plastic half-spheres on one side white and one side gray. The 360° rotating base allows you to position the lamp according to the type of light you want to have. On one side the light is covered by the lampshade and radially conveyed onto the glass diffusing to the other, and on the other side the light illuminates the lampshade creating a central luminous sphere. Designed in the 80' the lamp has its original label and is in perfect condition with no defects. With a refined and innovative design, this lamp is ideal for illuminating your rooms or creating a soft light. Arteluce was' founded in 1939 by Gino Sarfatti and other Milanese entrepreneurs. Throughout its history it has collaborated with big names in design and designed the lighting of several ships, museums and even the entire lighting of the Teatro Regio in Turin in collaboration with Carlo Mollino.
