About the Item
A very stylish table lamp by Tony Paul.
Tony Paul was a world famous American industrial designer. Above all, he is known for his designs of furniture, dishes and lighting design.
Tony Paul grew up in the Bronx and lived in New York for his entire life. He studied at the Pratt Institute Paul initially works on ergonomic designs for Robert Barber Inc.
Finally, Paul founds his own design company Tony Paul and Associates. His designs are produced by various companies such as Raymor, Westwood, Verplex, Woodlin-Hall, The Elton Company. He himself is a partner of the Elton Company. Paul wins several design awards, including the Good Design Award of the New York Museum of Modern Art. During his career he was in contact with many mid-century industrial designers, including Arthur Umanoff, Russell Wright, Ben Seibel and Paul McCobb.

A beautiful and very good quality Art Deco style table lamp in uniquely shaped blown crystal and brass. Cofrac Art Verrier from France. This piece bears the makers mark. Cofrac used labels to identify their pieces which were usually removed by the purchasers for aesthetics, however, the labels were not removed on this vintage lamp. Therefore, this lamp is like new.
Approximate dimensions: 21" High x 21" Wide x 6" Deep
Exceptionally good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Brass base was recently polished. Lamp is in working order.
