Vintage Mid-Century Brass Table/Desk Lamp for Itsu, Finland, 1950s
About the Item
A mid-century brass table lamp in the style of Paavo Tynell. This full brass lamp is known as Model EV 61 and was manufactured by Itsu (Itä-Suomen Sähkö Oy) in Finland in the 1950’s. A rare find! Beautifully crafted details and stunning patina. Manufacturer’s mark engraved on the bottom. Will add timeless elegance to any space. Would make a wonderful desk lamp for a vintage design lover.
Itsu was known as one of the leading light manufacturers in Finland, producing high quality lamps with modernist designs for both domestic and public spheres.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. In very good, functioning vintage condition. The lamp is currently fitted with its original wiring, which still works, but we do recommend rewiring it. Heavy patina. Overall appearance is very good.
