About the Item
A beautiful and distinct table lamp designed by Pierre Forssell for Skultuna, in the second half of the 20th century in Sweden. This solid brass table lamp has a unique look that will surely steal the attention in any interior. Every single hole in the lamp is torched by hand by the famous Skultuna brass smiths. The item is in very good condition with a nice patina, and a manufacturers stamp by Skultuna.
Pierre Forssell (1925-2004) was a prominent Swedish 20th Century designer, craftsman and a silversmith. Forssell carried out work for multiple Swedish manufacturers such as Gense and Skultuna Messingsbruk. He also designed sacred art in brass, such as crosses and candlesticks, for several churches in Sweden.
