About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this very large hand-carved oak framed glass mirror
A magnificent well made and hand-carved piece, you rarely find any kind of mirror this size but let alone one that’s over 130 years old. The glass has been replaced and is brand new, the glass pictured sadly was broken
The frame is fully restored, it’s been removed from the glass, secured inside and out with a new base fitted, the glass has been then refitted and had the base secured, it is 100% solid and stable. We have then painted it with a thick black paint and polished off the edges of the carved sections so the lightness of the timber shines through
