About the Item

Perfect size and stunning antique wall mirror. All handcrafted in the late 1800s this marvelous wall mirror would have graced the living space of a mansion of a very well to do family or individual. This incredibly well carved and highly stylish, scrolling, solid nutwood frame is an absolute joy to look at. One of the reasons why it survived in this amazing condition, is because the artisan whom created this gem chose a beautiful nutwood of almost two inches thick. The shape is magnificent, but the patina and the excellent condition really take this antique to the next level. After an unfortunate accident in the 1990s, the former owner had the mirror replaced which is why the striking beveled glass mirror is in mint condition. In trying to give you the best possible idea of what this antique looks like, we have taken photos inside and outside. However, and as always, this impressive mirror is much better looking in real life than in our images. Mind you, our price for this stunning and unique mirror includes perfect packing and also worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days.
