This is a large antique overmantel mirror. An English, painted living room or bedroom mirror, dating to the late Victorian period and later, circa 1900.
Pleasingly aged appearance with bright reflection
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good condition commensurate with age
Generous moulded frame with gently rolled, stepped edges with lower supporting rail
Painted in an appealing light blue over gilt aged finish adding flourishes of golden hues
Generously sized mirror plate making an ideal addition to a large fireplace
The later glass plate with very light, desirable foxing and strikingly sharp image
Pair of small metal loops to rear for wall mounting in the home
