About the Item
Unusual sculptural 21st c., wall mirror inspired by Neal Small's Slopes work. The beveled center plate has an angled mirror surround with an ebonised black substructure. Each of the 80 beveled mirrors in the surround is 3" square.
This mirror is both sculptural and practical. The center plate is sized to work as a traditional mirror. The light bounces off each of the 80 3" square mirrors to create something akin to a ripple effect. No doubt candle light would amplify the magical effect. A waterside setting would also be a beautiful location for this work.
The mirror is unmarked. The hardware has been mounted for hanging in either orientation.
