Direct from France, another fabulous hand carved frame mirror, one of a large group in our most recent container The original large crown sets the tone and features open carvings of standing lions flanking the center shield/cartouche.
Wide rectangular frame with beveled carved edging and carved center panels. Beveled edges on the large mirror; note the original wood back is present. Excellent style and dark finish, perfect to compliment any décor, from French Country to English Manor or traditional; circa 1880. Imagine this large mirror as a statement piece in a foyer or over mantel, in your home, lodge or castle!
Measurements: 54” ht. x 36.5” x 3.25”. (45”ht. without crown). Mirror inset area, approx. 32” ht. x 24”.
