A Very Fine French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Gilt-Wood and Gilt-Gesso Carved Ornamental Mantel Pier Mirror. The ornately decorated giltwood carved frame crowned with a shield medallion of a maiden flanked by leaves, flower wreaths, ribbons and acanthus, the square corners with floral decorations and ribbons, the bottom centered with a mask of 'Bacchus' flanked by ribbons and rosette decorations. Circa: Paris, 1890.
