A Large French Transition Louis XIV/XV Style Belle Époque Gilt-wood Carved Mirror. The nicely carved gilt-wood frame, crowned with a floral, acanthus and scrolled crest flanked by scrolled corners, the bottom centered with a floral carving flanked by scrolled corners, fitted with its original beveled mirror plate (silver losses). Circa: Paris, 1920-1930.

- Condition:Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. The gilt appears to have been refreshed, the mirror plate, as shown on the images and video, has streaks of silver losses from behind the plate. Some buyers don't mind these streaks, others will have the mirror plate replaced, sold 'As Is'.
