A Very Rare Pair of 19th Century Giltwood Mirrors
About the Item
A very rare pair of 19th Century giltwood mirrors of exceptional quality. This stunning pair of mirrors can be hung in both the landscape and portrait format. The mirror glass plate of rectangular form is set within a finely hand carved, pierced moulded and fluted giltwood frame with fabulously detailed and elegant motifs throughout comprising of trailing flowerheads, richly scrolling foliate, acanthus leaves, s and c scroll detail with gorgeous stylised shell motifs to each of the corner returns.
This Exceptional Pair Can Be Hung In Both The Portrait or Landscape Formats.
