17th Century Italian Inlaid Mirror
About the Item
Rare 17th century Neapolitan ebony and bone inlaid walnut giltwood mounted toilet mirror. The rarity of this small piece cannot be overstated. The veneered inlaid columns are superb and a delight to behold, as is the inlaid frieze. The giltwood leaf decorated cresting compliments the frame to perfection, whilst the silvered swing mirror plate is original. The whole sitting atop four ball feet.
