18th 18th Century Mirrors with architectural shape frames (2) Gilded wood, 77 x 58 cm Light, 36 x 29 cm These two mirrors, dating from the 18th century and made of Venetian gilded wood, are an exquisite example of period craftsmanship. Their form is characterized by an elaborate structure, with richly carved and gilded frames framing slightly irregular oval-shaped mirrors. The frames are decorated with floral and plant motifs, typical of the Venetian Baroque style, with intricate details extending along the sides and top of the mirrors.
