About the Item

Crafted in Italy circa 1880, and 5 feet in lenght, the stunning piece is ornately decorated with a richly gilded, rococo-style frame featuring intricate carvings and hand-painted scenes. The top of the frame is crowned with an elaborate pierced crest embellished with floral and scroll work decor, showcasing a central painted panel with pastoral or historical imagery. The frame’s sides and bottom are similarly adorned with delicate painted scenes, inspired by European landscapes or courtly figures, adding a touch of elegance and storytelling to the piece.
