Exquisite English Chippendale carved and giltwood mirror. Mirror is ornately decorated in the rococo style featuring birds and acanthus leaves. On reverse side is a paper label reading, "J & W Vokins Carvers Gilder's etc. by appointment to HRH The Prince Of Wales / 14 & 16 Great Portland Street / London. J & W Vokins' were known for their carving, gilding and frame making business in London, England in the 19th century.
