A stunning large scale French Mid-19th Century Regence St. Double framed giltwood mirror. The mirror retains all original beveled and etched mirror plates throughout each framed within Fine mottled bands with charming richly carved scrolled foliate designs with pierced decorative foliate elements, palmettes, and seashells at each corner. Above is the striking scalloped top crown with its original mirror plate centered by an exquisite intricately detailed etched woven basket of flowers framed within stunning interlocking scrolled acanthus leaves with lovely brule parfum urn shaped finials at each side and a superb foliate reserve amidst charming blooming flowers. All original gilt throughout.
