About the Item
This nineteenth century zinc bull's eye window, called an Oeil de Boeuf in French, was originally a dormer window in a mansard roof of a Normandy manor house. At 34 inches in height, with its classic pediment style roof and interior mirror, this piece makes an impressive statement as an architectural element hung on the wall. c. 1880.
