A wonderful and most elegant Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. Giltwood and patinated Wood mirror. This stunning mirror is set within a most decorative hand painted frame showcasing ancient Roman pastoral scenes. A beaded Giltwood border frames and accentuates the hand painted vignettes of shepherds, farmers, and domestic animals which adorn the corners. In the center rests the octagonal mirror separated from the painted scenes by a fine Giltwood border.
