19th Century Italian Baroque Hollywood Regency Style Carved Wood Mirror. Mirror frame features an ornate three-dimensional scroll design that exudes opulence, while the deep relief carving creates depth and texture. It is finished in a warm, subtly distressed patina that adds character. Mirror dates to the 1940s glamour era. The scrolling foliate motif draws inspiration from Italian Baroque and Rococo traditions, reinterpreted through the glamorous lens of the Hollywood Regency style. Marked on verso "Made in Italy".
