About the Item
An impressive Italian mid 19th century Baroque st. triple framed giltwood mirror. The large scale mirror is raised by pierced S scrolled supports flanking the pierced central foliate reserve. The triple framed mirror is decorated by eight carved cartouches and an inner Coeur de Rai giltwood band. The impressive pierced top crown has elaborate scrolled foliate designs throughout with top floral branches and a central Fleur de Lys pierced spray. All original gilt and mirror plates throughout.
