Italian Nicely-Carved Accent Mirror 19th C.
About the Item
An Italian carved and gilt wood mirror from the 19th century. This antique mirror from Italy displays a richly carved body embellished with scrolled foliate designs, clusters of blooms at each shoulder and anchoring central bottom, with curved leaf centered atop the pierced crown. The gold finish has a lovely old patina and there are subtle hints of red and green accents. Please note that the mirror is later, as it has been replaced. This 19th century Italian accent mirror stands just shy of 2 feet in height.
