Large Quality Gilt Overmantle or Wall Mirror, Art Deco Period, 1900-1920
About the Item
Antique large gilt overmantle or wall mirror from the Art Deco period, dating approximately from 1900-1920. It exudes lovely charm and elegance, featuring its original finish with minor losses and touching up in various areas.
This mirror stands out with a rare and beautiful simple design, making it an impressive find that would enhance any suitable location. Free from woodworm, the mirrored glass is in good condition with only light oxidation/hazing.
The overall maximum dimensions are 133cm in height, 94cm in width, and 4cm in depth, with the mirrored glass measuring 112cm in height and 73cm in width. The mirror can be hung in either portrait or landscape orientation.
In good antique condition, it displays minor historic knocks, marks, wear, and imperfections, which add to its overall appeal.
