Massive Painted And Gilt Beveled Mirror With Sconces
About the Item
A Dramatic and large Hall or Foyer Mirror with attached Sconce Pair. A tall mirror with dark brown stained surround with gold leaf outer and inner borders applied to crate a pattern and intentionally showing the underlying Red Clay sizing. The sides set with decorative French style brass sconces with tassels. Along with fine black cord shades. The mirror with a 3/4" lavish cut bevel.
H. 66 1/2", W. 50", Depth 8.5"
Condition: There are various signs of age and slight wear including some minor gilt losses, candle covers on the sconces with cracks and losses and some loose threads on the shades all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is, as stated, dramatic and fine.
