Mid-20th Century Chinoiserie Carved Giltwood Wall Mirror

About the Item

Hand-crafted in the Mid-20th Century, this mirror features a pagoda design with gilt wood and blue hand-painted details. Panels of intricate silk needlepoint are inset under glass and depict an array of colorful floral life and birds. The top most framed image is a reproduction of one of Hokusai's woodblock prints from his series "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji." Dimensions: 45 in. height 29 1/2 in. width 7/8 in. depth Condition notes: In good condition with general wear that's consistent with the mirror's age and use. Some minor fogging to glass.
