About the Item
Rectangular bamboo and rattan wall mirror in French Riviera style dating back to the 50s and 60s.
This vintage mirror was made in Italy where there is a long tradition of handcrafting rush, wicker, cane and rattan, just think of the leading Italian company in this sector and known throughout the world "Bonacina".
The craftsmanship of the production is visible in the curves and bindings that can only be done by hand.
The structure of this mirror is composed of two concentric rectangular bamboo frames with beautiful sinusoidal decorations in curved rattan between them.
This item comes with hooks to hang it vertically, but you can add 2 more to hang it horizontally.
Perfect for a Riviera or Boho chic interior, but I would not limit the styles this mid-century modern mirror can be compatible with thanks to its natural fibers and its beautiful patina of time.
The mirror is in good vintage condition on the front, but has slight signs of use and age on the back which do not compromise its stability and oxidation stains due to age on the mirror, visible in the video and photos.
