Glass mirror with hand carved wood dragon attributed to French sculptor and cabinetmaker Gabriel Viardot (January 2, 1830 - March 19, 1904). Viardot was a French cabinet maker and specialist in Japonisme.

    Minor losses. Though structurally sound, there is a crack in the top right wing of the dragon and two knuckles/claws missing as well as a small chip in the lower left wing. Mirror is in excellent condition.
