Gorgeous pair of mid-century modern period cartouche wall mirrors crafted in Italy. The carved frames are decorated in the Venetian style with rococo revival C scrolls and shell rocaille borders. The frames are lacquered with an oyster color having dramatic parcel gilt highlights throughout. Whimsical pair of mirrors with distinctive profiles and a desirable aged patina on the finish. Sold as a pair. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
