Pair of Star Shaped Wall Mirrors in Faded Velvet, United Kingdom, Late 19th Century. This is a charming pair of star-shaped velvet wall mirrors with a perfect patina. They are made in the late 19th century, presumably in the United Kingdom. The mirrors are framed in faded yellow / green velvet, which has developed a desirable patina over time. The velvet, once vibrant, now displays a warm, muted tone that enhances the antique appeal. The fabric covers a wooden base, which has been meticulously shaped into a star pattern - creating a striking silhouette. Each mirror is set into the center of the star, surrounded by the velvet-covered frame. The glass itself shows signs of age, with subtle spotting and clouding which only adds to the charm. These mirrors make wonderful decorative accents and are great for a hallway, bathroom or bedroom wall.
