About the Item
This mirror frame was masterfully carved with elaborate decoration around 1880, probably in Austria. A wonderful historicist piece in softwood with nutwood optics.
The exceptionally rich decoration has been worked over the entire surface, and the deep construction is also special.
The frame has a highly decorative effect, as the corners are particularly elongated and an exciting depth effect is created, which is particularly noticeable in the photos with the side view of the object.
Measurements approx.: height 22,05 in - 56 cm, width 19,09 in - 48,5 cm, depth 3,35 in - 8,5 cm
The mirror frame is in its original condition; a new mirror plate was added over the years. There is a metal ring on the back for immediate wall mounting.
