Early 1900s handcrafted wooden picture frame with beveled mirror, South Spanish 1900.
This rare and all handcrafted Alhambra style picture frame is in excellent condition and it comes with the original, antique beveled mirror. If you are decorating your home or restaurant or shop with an arab 'flavor' then this handcrafted work of art mirror could be perfect for you. Every single wooden bead that you can see in this frame (and there are hundreds) is hand turned and put together manually as well. The 'network' of all these pieces together is an absolute joy to look at. Add to that the multiple inlaid, geometric motifs and you will understand that it must have taken a skilled craftsman days or even weeks to hand-craft this wonderful antique. Both the outside and the inside rim are ebonized/blackened making this stylish mirror even more attractive.
