About the Item
This is a magnificent antique Venetian Sansovino style high relief carved, richly water gilded and highly burnished framed mirror. It is certainly an outstanding 19th century large scale museum quality piece. The opulent and bold carving makes a strong statement. It would be almost impossible to find another such elaborate piece.
The condition is good. Some gilt loss. Gesso flaking is regilded.
