This Absolutely Magnificent Rare 5-piece bedroom set is a fantastic piece of Artwork. The Bedroom features a Fabulous Heavily Carved Bed with Wow Factor Female statues to the Footboard, this King-Size Bed has an impressive heavily carved Headboard and Footboard, crafted from beautiful rich solid walnut wood. The bedroom is of the fabulous Bambocci style with 3d putti cherubs and Heads for Drawer pulls.
The Bedroom is carved with an array of Mythical creatures such as People, Cherubs, Angels, Ogres and the Craftsman's initials to central Spere. The set comes with Nine drawers for ample storage, additional shelving and clothes hanging rail compartments making it both practical and Unique.
The bedroom set has been carved by one of the most fantastic craftsmen of the time, as the carved is beautiful and extremely detailed.
This Rare and Exquisite bedroom set also includes Five stunning pieces, such as a matching Dresser with four large drawers all with carved head drawer pulls, a pair of Nightstands with head drawer pulls, King size Bed and a triple door Armoire all with ornate heavily carved details, like you have never seen before!
This original Italian Antique Bambocci Bedroom set from the late 19th century has been well maintained and is sure to add a the WOW factor to any bedroom. With three dimensional carvings with mythical creatures, animals, flowers, foliage and people.
The Beautiful Bed can be used with 170 cm x 200 cm mattress size. The external dimensions of the bed are 220cm x 185cm. The Headboard is 159cm High and Footboard 103cm.
The wardrobe dismantles in full and stands at 220 cm High x 236 cm x 70 cm depth. There are three compartments, housing clothes hanging rails, there are also three storage drawers at low level. The wardrobe has two caryatids at either side with carvings to the doors and head drawer pulls.
The Dresser has four large drawers, with magnificent drawer handles. The dimensions are 110 high x 137 x 60 cm depth.
The bedside cabinets have a drawer and a two cupboard areas. The cabinets are heavily carved with Bambocci drawer pulls, The dimensions are 82 cm height x 60 x 41 cm depth.
Condition Report
The Bedroom is over one hundred years old and is in good order for its age, there are some minor marks and small losses.

HIGHLY, IMPORTANT AND UNIQUE Empire Style Bedroom Suite or Set from circa 1880.
The Suite/Set is almost completely original, save the bed, which was originally twin size, but professionally commissioned to be customized and converted into a Euro King Size for modern practicality. The quality of the conversion matches the quality of the suite/set.
All pieces have gilt bronze mounted fittings; beautiful patina, beautiful parquetry; beautiful carrara marble tops, simply stunning!
About 10 years ago, I saw the ‘identical twin’ of the Commode in an Antique Store on Central Park in New York, however it had a less desirable green marble top (IMHO), and they were looking for 30k USD for the Commode, on its OWN!
This Suite/Set is SO GOOD that it is the main exhibit in our rear Showroom.
Not marked but under the marble top of the commode there are 2 signatures in pencil (1) M. Le Youters (?) and (2) M. Daneels.
You will NOT find another complete suite/set like this ANYWHERE!
