Rare Dunbar Lacquered Burl Occasional Table by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, 1946

Three Finnish birch burl shelves set in a frame of thin, square steel with a baked enamel finish raised on four, tapered steel nubs serving as inconspicuous legs. This model, 4611, is part of a small series of five architecturally inspired occasional tables/shelves designed in 1945, introduced in 1946, and discontinued after 1953.
