About the Item

Beautifully handcrafted and practical size, airplane theme table clock. Over the years we have sold a number of striking (no pun intended) clocks, but never one as decorative and cool looking as this one. Aviation has made the world significantly smaller and, to us, flying has been one of human's most amazing achievements. We have (had) several pilot clients and they all seem to have always known that they were born to be in the aviation industry. Pilots also seem to always have a true passion for what they do. The kind of passion that you don't see in many professions. If you are one of those aviation enthousiasts or if you have a dear friend or family member who is a true enthousiast then this unique and all handcrafted wooden clock could be the perfect gift. The antique style, wooden airplane propeller design makes it an absolute joy to own and look at. This rare work of beauty also comes with a white enameled dial face with black Roman numerals which makes telling time very easy from further away as well. It also comes with the original, long key for winding the solid brass, perfect working, French, seven day clock mechanism via the back (as shown in image 8). Its overall design and solid walnut 'body' makes this unique clock extra special and, we feel, it will look great in an Art Deco interior, in a mid-century interior, but also in a more contemporary one.
