This is a book of historical importance, it charted the course of the monumental Paris 1925 Exposition des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, which gave rise to the international style of Art Deco. Complemented by a group of carefully selected Parisian archival photographs, drawing near the receding decades of the ‘20s, this book vivified the exposition in front of our eyes with testimonies of the two authors who participated in the fair as staff members at the British Pavilion. A mesmerising account from personal experiences, supplemented with academic analysis, this book is an Art Deco aficionado must-have.
