Antiques - Authentic Reproductions Sales Catalogue of the H.C. Valentine & Co., Antiques Co., East Franklin St., Richmond, Virginia VA, c1940. A hard-cased catalog containing 10-booklets: English Sheffield Silver, Lawn & Garden Furniture from Old Virginia, Queen Anne Period, Thomas Sheraton, Clocks/Lamps/Girandols & Mirrors, Thomas Chippendale, George Hepplewhite, Andirons & Fenders, American Period Early and Late, Duncan Phyfe, and American Empire or Colonial Period. 1st Ed hardcover catalog. Brown blind-stamp embossed tray-case with all loose pamphlets relating to antique furniture offered for sale by the company. Also included is a sample piece of mahogany. In addition there is a booklet titled, Forward, which gives a history of the company, showing photos of the outside and inside the storefront, their shop, a cabinet maker hand-building a reproduction, an 'expert finisher hand-applying one of the many coats of finish,' and also a photo of the Upholstering Room. With many brown-toned photos. The Forward booklet also shows a photo of their delivery truck. A fabulous reference on reproduction furniture. We are division of N.P.
